Default 1957 e-bird vacuum

I was wondering if anyone can tell me the proper way to connect up the vacuum lines from the distributor to the (2) holly teapots on my 1957 t bird. Right now there is no vacuum line to either carb. The car is a 3 speed with an over drive. In addition, this t-bird appears to have the carburetors rotated 180 degrees from what I have seen in pictures, I was told that this was required in order to allow the air cleaner housing to clear the hood scoop.

Sorry, I cannot help with vacuum line diagrams. I only have a diagram showing how to hook up the gas pedal linkage.

Yes, the carbs on T-Birds are backwards compared to passenger cars. The vacuum to the distributor diaphragm goes to the rear carb only (I think). The front carb gets a threaded plug in the vacuum hole. The link below will have all of the correct lines for your car (vacuum and fuel).

This link goes to a pretty good picture of the fuel and vacuum lines on a '57 T-Bird.
