A friend of mine has just bought an imported 1946 Ford Sedan Coupe with the "6" G Motor. He is desperately trying to locate a pair of Engine Mounts.
Can anyone advise me where we can purchase a pair, as my friend is not on the internet? Please help get this car back on the road.

For those of you who don't know what the Engine Mounts for the Ford G6 Engine look like, I am attaching some pictures for your reference and education. These items have now arrived in Australia and have been fitted to my friends 1946 Ford Sedan Coupe. Thanks to Fred from Southside Obsolete, Minnesota.

Another option is to get the brackets from a pickup and use the V8 bisket mounts.

One of the motor mounts for my 47 fordor, flathead six "G" has collapsed.. I need a pair as well.. Also, do the V8 rubber donuts go under these at the location where the mounts rest on the frame mounts?

These original Ford G6 Engine Mounts are not common.

Mine had a solid mount that sat on the same mount as the V8 as per below
