Thanks Andy, I'll check it out. Still bummed about not being able to make the trip after they rescheduled it for this past weekend.

Here's an up-date on the Cigar City Flatheads T-Shirts, for those who have expressed interest. I'm told (earlier today) that the first order of CCF T-Shirts will be ready to be picked up tomorrow, Thursday, October 15th. To reiterate, the T-Shirts (first order all extra large) cost $14.95 plus $3.50 S&H. The handling charge is good for up to three shirts per order.

To order yours, send a check or MO payable to Vic Piano, to Vic Piano c/o Mizlou Television Network, Inc. 7853 Gunn Hwy. Suite 343, Tampa, FL 33626.

As soon as I get the T-Shirts, and can find a suitable model (not me) to wear one, I'll post a photo.

Thanks for supporting the Cigar City Flatheads.

Does anybody know if a voltage regulator is located on the top of the generator on a 1936 Ford sedan v8 flathead

A 'cut out' is on top of the three brush generator on '36 Fords. Cut outs were used prior to voltage regulators that were first used on Fords in '39 on the Deluxe only.

The rain has eased up and the temp and humidity have come down a bit, making it very pleasant to cruise topless in the old Convertibles. Saturday morning it was cool (for Tampa) so I drove the '51 Ford Pickup up to the Hot Rod Breakfast. After breakfast, several of the guys wanted to go to a car show that was not too far from my house. The sun was out and the temps were rising so I stopped at my house a picked up the '39 Lincoln Zephyr Convertible to take to the car show... On Sunday there was another car show at a collector’s garage. This time I drove the '63 Studebaker Avanti, I had a chance to three of the cars out and blow out the cobwebs... Here are some photos of the collection I saw yesterday.

Great pictures, Vic, and great you got to "run" almost all of your machinery...seem to remember there's a red Panel Delivery somewhere there in your garage, along with the '39 CS !!

Dick.

Hi Dick, I do have a '53 F-100 Panel Delivery but it needs water pumps... I have them, just haven't found the time to put them on... I did get to drive both '39's, the '51 F-1 and the '63 Studebaker Avanti.

Helent, I wish that was my shop... LOL The grass is always greener... Isn't it...

Good news!!! The first batch of Cigar City Flatheads T-Shirts are ready (I have to pick them up tomorrow) so, now we'll be able to take orders and fill the ones we already have.

All the T-Shirts (in the first order) are Extra Large. Cost for a shirt is $14.95 + $3.50 S&H (the shipping charge is good for up to three shirts).

If you can't wait to be the first kid on your block to be sportin' a CCF T-Shirt, send a check or MO payable to Vic Piano, to: Vic Piano c/o Mizlou Television Network Inc. 7853 Gunn Hwy., Suite 343 Tampa, FL 33626.

As soon as I pick up the T-Shirts, I'll post a photo of one.

As always, we thank you for supporting the Cigar City Flatheads.
