Default 1937 21 stud Flathead motor

1937 21 stud Flathead motor for sale! Runs perfect.. doesnt smoke. last owner said it had a rebuild and i believe him cause it runs perfect. Im selling the complete motor carb to pan with generator, fan ect.. Brand new fuel pump. has great oil pressure at speed and in 90 degree weather in traffic it didnt overheat, doesnt leak a drop. im having a fully dressed 24 stud flathead built as we speak so i wont be needing this anymore.. its still in the truck and im going to keep it in there until someone comes and buys it.. come hear it RUN and take it for a DRIVE!!

That actually looks like a 35 or 36 engine, the 37 21 stud engine had the water outlet in the middle of the head.

Not necessarily, early 37s used the head mounted waterpumps, with block off plates on the block where the later pumps would go.

This one does have the block off plates, thats why the local flathead guru told me it was a 37 motor.
