Dashboard wiring question
I took the dashboard off my 1928 and saw a red wire behind it that is disconnected. Anyone know where it should be connected and a reason someone would have disconnected it? The car does have electronic ignition installed in the distributor and I am pretty sure the ignitor is wired to the ignition switch.

Re: Dashboard wiring question
I'd suggest tracing it and see what is on the other end. Any number of things could have been done over the years.
Pictures would help too.. :-) |

Re: Dashboard wiring question
I found it. It's not connected at either end. Thanks cpf240 for the comment. It seems the ignitor for the electronic ignition system replaced the red wire in the original harness.
