I wish all of you and your families a happy, healthy and prosperous New Year.
At the moment it is about zero degrees with snow, ice and salt on the roads in Mass.
Thankfully, all of my cars are nice and safe inside.

Happy new year everyone. Yes it is very cold even here in southern Illinois. We haven't had it this cold for many years and I ain't used to it. The '55 Courier sits outside, but she still starts and runs.
My 2007 Ford F150 pickup does NOT like the cold. When you open the door (if you can even get the door open), it will not latch shut. I tried lots of things to get it to latch and finally got a long extension cord and a hair dryer and aimed the hairdryer at the latch opening in the door. Sure enough, it worked, but then there's always the danger of going somewhere in this frozen wasteland, getting out then coming back and having the door not latch. Then what'll ya do?
