Default radiator emblem Q...

Anyway to tell/know whether an emblem is original, re-plated original or repop ?

Can't tell you whether they are original etc but it looks like the middle one has a black background. If that is so, it belongs to a Canadian car.

No, it is just the lighting. That and I'm a lousy photographer ..ha !

it is a reproduction two things the originals are nickel plated not chrome and the button on the back is different.

Many original emblems have a reversed Ford script indented on the back. Also 28 and early 29 emblems had a stepped edge on the outer plated area. 29 and early 30's had a rounded edge on the outside. I am posting some original emblems below. Note the first picture is stepped edge.

Thanks Rusty,
Does the type of fastener shown on back of my emblem indicate anything to you ? My edge is 'rounded' on the outside.

Also note on the originals,...they have the manufacturers name embossed on
the back,...I think there are 2 different ones...
