I'm with Brent: +1 for the 1931 Drauz bodied Model A; sporty, elegant and chic:

OK.....I'm just a little biased (nice photos Brent )

Yes it is.I think 400 A's are ugly.(and I owned one) Same with the 180A phaeton,and town cars.Personal view only.I don't care for the 28-29 cars much,but love the special coupe.And,I do own a nice 28 phaeton.

Somewhat agree on a400. Just the uniqueness of them.
Until this moment…..I’ve never heard anyone say a 180a is ugly. Problematic, yes!!
That’s why baskin-Robbin’s makes 32 flavors!!

They've always looked kind of squat to me.A few years ago somebody offered to trade one for a 35 3 window coupe I had.I almost drove out to N.Y. to look at it,then thought, why do I want a car I don't really like the looks of?I only bought the 400A for the value, and I wanted a phaeton to keep so the value of that one was unimportant. Now I don't like my 28 phaeton and want to get rid of that one.If everybody liked the same thing there would not have been a need for more than one style car.

I always like the Deluxe Pickups (The GE refrigerator pickup trucks). I never had the chance to buy one. Now I really feel like I am too old to take on any more projects.

Thanks all for sharing the Model A's that you like. For newbies on the Barn, I suggest that the Tudors, Fordors & Station Wagons are the most ideal Model A's for year-round family touring.

One restored is for sale. Any luck lately with Lottery ?
The Harrah’s collection had a Town Car, I don’t remember the year, back when I visited it in the late ‘60s. Much of that collection got auctioned off in the 1980’s after Bill Harrah died. Some of the original collection remains in the National Auto Museum in Reno - but not the Town Car, according to their inventory. Does anyone know what happened to that car?

Ya know, back in the day they all were probably a good value if a person was shopping for a new vehicle. I guess I am surprised they sold almost 5MM of them given The Depression after the crash in October of 1929.

I wonder how much of a chance Henry Ford thought he was taking rolling out a new V-8 in 1932.

I have 1 of my favorites, 1928 Fordor Leatherback. The other one that I really like is the 28-29 Phaeton. I've always been partial to the early A's vs the 30-31's.

“wonder how much of a chance Henry Ford thought he was taking rolling out a new V-8 in 1932”

It was my understanding it was a defense approach. Chevrolet’s six was hitting Ford hard.
