Default 28-29 radiator baffle

Folks my 29 roadster does not have a baffle in the top tank and seems like I loose a lot of water. are some with baffles and some without

One fix before going to a radiator shop is rerouting the overflow tube close to the radiator cap, and putting a flat head roofing nail in the end of it.

Does the roofing nail plug off the overflow tube? I'm not seeing how that works??

Kinda does. The tube length is a variable. I vaguely remember the repositioning part in the service bulletins, or the Tiny's Tips v1.
Also, the roofing nail is a "Bill Williamson Fix".
