Re: East vs West PNW Flathead Reliability Run
Shared from Sam over on the H.A.M.B. :
"We usually put on the East West Flathead Reliability Run in September each year. Monitor Hot Rod Cafe ( Monitor Washington just north of Wenatchee Washington). Since inheriting the event from the Emperors of Spokane a few years ago we have noticed less and less Flatheads making the trip form East or West each year. We don't know the reasons for this drop in attendance but still want to offer it. We have however seen an increase in overhead powered Hot rod owners that want to come out and see your Flatheads. We have always offered parking on the grounds for these overhead cars and have enjoyed their company. You don't have to own and drive a Flathead to be a fan! This year we have an open date in the Wenatchee area on October 2nd for a cruise in/ car show. So we are offering all Hot Rodders to come and enjoy the day with special parking offered for Flathead powered cars.We will also be offering a trophy for the Flathead powered car that drives the farthest to the event as usual. See the attached poster for the event and call or write if you have any questions." |
