My father has offered to give me his 56 crown Vic (his first ever car). It's in pretty rough condition since sitting outside for 30+ years in the driveway (even though it's SoCal). The thing that worries me is the roof since water got under the trim on top and it is rusted and warped. All the other rust areas I know I can get panels and cross member. Anyone know where to get a roof panel? Am I going to have to buy a doner car? Any advice is appreciated. I'm trying to convince myself it's worth working on.
