Default 5th Annual Nor Cal Reliability Run

I am not sure if this is the right place to put up an event on here,

But I do know that there a quite a few guys on here that have come on the runs in the past and there may be more of you that would enjoy it.

It is open to all cars and trucks before 1941, so if you enjoy driving on some nice country roads with like minded folks, please come along for a ride.

This event is free ............except your gas and food for your self.

There are some links below to years past

Thanks to everyone who has come in years past and posted video and photos.

1st year

I am going on this run, it is a good time and a good test for your old car .
i went on it last year with my old truck and a very worn out motor. my old truck made it i drove 199 miles from the time i left my house until i got back home. i burnt 19 gallons of gas and used 3 qts of oil. this year i am more prepared with my fresh motor and new tires, it will be a blast!

Hey Dave, this sounds like fun.
Is this run a stag event, or are wives included ?

Would a 41 Ford pickup be able to slip in? Or is it strictly Pre-41?

Wives or girlfriends are welcome, as long as they enjoy themselves.

Actually it is recommended that you bring a navigator/ riding mechanic.

Hi Dave, I have a 35 tudor sedan that runs fairly well. It should make the trip jus fine. Jim wont know his availability until event day. Brent needs a hall pass from momma and he'll go...

Tim,
I am glad to hear your coming, I hope Brent can bring his roadster.

These runs are what roadsters are for.

See you next week.

Sorry to say that it's not going to happen this year. I really wanted to make the trek, but life has it's way of changing things...

Maybe next time.

the reliability run was great. this was the first time i have driven my truck hard, since i put in the fresh motor i pulled some hard grades yesterday
my 36 still has the mechanical brakes. coming down the first grade i had some brake fade but i could still stop. on the others i just took my time.i had no trouble, drove about 210 miles from the time i left my house until the time i got back home also i got about 14 mpg it was a blast thanks Dave for your hard work Brendan

I pulled in about 8:10 and drove around the park, when this guy walks up and asks if i was with the group that just left, and he said head norht on healdsburg.
and i saw a few cars leaving the gas station, but i needed gas then and when i caught up i learned that maps were handed out.
gased up and headed to the point i was told you guys would be stoping by but never saw you guys.
drove thru Napa and Calastoga, so you guys must have had a good run, i know i enjoyed my day, although it could have been better.
hopefully next year.
glad you got throu the shake down run Brendan.
