Where do you run the wire for the overhead interior light on a 1938 Woody??

This is 100% concourse correct. I'm not certain where you'd find the proper wire these days.

Not sure I agree on the spare tire cover however; I’ve worked with Dearborn museum and can provide you with plans / details if helpful

Rhode Island Wiring Service (and others) can provide the wire you need, as well as any Ford-correct bullet connectors.

This is a '39. Rest assured, it's correct. Not certain what a '38 looks like. '39 had the inner and outer stainless rings.

My 40 is just like Mike's 39 picture but has 1 more black clip. I would think a 38 would be the same as 39. 37-40 cowls have the same A pillar where the wire comes up inside.
