Default 48 - 51 F-1 Front Drum

Can any of you guys recommend a source for F-1 front brake drums? I've been searching the net but I'm coming up empty with the more popular parts suppliers. They are either not listed or out of stock. Any help is appreciated.

rustynutz,
I got mine from Midwest Early Ford in Springfield, Ohio. They were made in Columbia, South America. The quailty was very good and dimensions were "dead nuts"! They have been on my truck for appx. three years and work very good. The back drums are available at local parts stores but are made in China! The quality SUCKS and dimensions are + or- who knows what! The part no. from Earlyford is 8C-1125. There phone no. is 1-800-543-5035. Hope this helps.

I don't think that rock auto part is correct - they don't distinguish between front and rear drums. The fronts are unique 48-52 F1 with a half-inch off-set and usually go for $125 each.

I bought them for my 48 F1 12 years ago from Sacramento Vintage Ford and have used it as a daily for 10 years - quality then was great

The picture RA shows is the rear which was common 48-67 and is cheap.

mtflat, your right about that. They are rears for the Dana rear axle.

Macs has them P/N 81C-1125 for $90.00 but who knows where they're manufactured.
