Restoring a six post delivery truck
I found a few photos of my second ground up restoration. This is the rolling chassis. All parts was stripped from frame and sand blasted.Engine,Transmission and rear end rebuilt. All was then primed and painted.
This is the way I bought the wood and iron. Stripped the wood bare. Sand blasted all iron primed and painted it. Last edited by 32 chevy vett; 02-15-2012 at 12:02 AM. |

Re: Restoring a six post delivery truck
Added more boards and irons. This is all the sheet metal in primer. I bought a
touring car. Out of Colorado. All the wood was gone. But the sheet metal WAS GOOD. Until the JERK warped all the body parts around the rest of the parts. But I still had the fenders, splash aprons and running boards etc. So I sandblasted and primed all those parts. And used them here. |

Very nice looking truck. From the first photos the firewall looks to be metal, what year model?
