Default 35 Pick Up Seat Back

I'm trying to determine how the seat back attaches to the rear of the cab on my pickup and if I have the correct seat for a 35. Everything else on the seat cushion seems to match up except the attachment

Something about your picture does not look right, Seems like the cushion is a little low. I'm thinking back and believe mine had pins through a hinge so the back cushion could be swung up to get at stuff behind it . I'll bet Lawson can tell ya fur sure !

There should be part of the back rest frame that comes up above the back rest, maybe 6", one on each side. It is straight, and it slips into a rectangular opening on the body support that runs just under the rear window, all the way across the back, and onto the sides too, I believe. Yours seems to be missing. (Or maybe you could cut off the curved ones at the top and fit them in the holes in the cross bracing.)

These aren't the greatest pics, but here is my '35, which I THINK is fairly original (at least as to the seat frame). I can take some measurements if you need them.

Heard, thanks for the pictures, good info. Do the bars that come up the seat back only rest against the cab under the rear window or do they actually hook into the cab interior wall ?. My seat back measures 45" by 22.5 "

Heard's seat is the correct one. The bars that stick up above the top of the back rest
slip into rectangular holes on the under side of the horizontal support bar that crosses under the back window. Run your hands along the underside of that bar and you will feel the holes, or take a look and you will see the holes. That is where the two upright bars go. The upright bars are the only thing that holds the backrest upright. There are 3 holes in each front corner of the underside of the seat. There is where the pegs that are located at the front top corners of the seat riser slip into. The upright bars form part of the hinge where the seat folds up, the other part of the hinge is attached to the wooden frame of the seat rest. This set up allows the seat to be adjusted, forward and backward to accommodate the driver. HOPE THIS HELPS.
