Default posting pictures

Read all the posts and tried all the suggestions and still can not add a picture to a new thread. I find it easy to add a picture to my albums but when I try to add a picture to a new thread it gets rejected when i hit upload. I know I'm missing something, maybe someone can give me a hint. Can you move a picture from your album on profile page to a new thread, I have no problem moving pictures from my computer to my profile page.
Thanks Bill

Possibly size related?

But here's what I do...

Take a pic, put it somewhere I can find it on my computer.

Open up a "new Post" (or in "reply")

Type my text into the message box.

Then before I post the message, scroll down to "Manage attachments"

Little pop up window will appear.

There should be the ability to post 7 pics...

To the left of the popup click on "Choose File"

After that, you will be looking into your computer for the pic.

Select the pic, then click "upload"...

Once done uploading just post the message

I don't have a problem uploading pics following directions posted by Mike B, however if I try from my phone I can only do one at a time. On the HAMB I can do more from my phone. Are you using your phone or your computer?

Click on User CP (User Control Panel) in the back bar under the Ford Barn logo above.

Then click on Edit Avatar and follow the instructions including the limit of dimension for the digital image (it's pretty small and square)

It must be the size of the picture because some get uploaded and some get rejected. Thanks for the help- I'll work on sizing the pictures and that should be it. Bill

Click on User CP at top of page.
Then go to Edit Avatar and post photo you want.
You may have to experiment a couple of times, but you'll get it.

Same problem here. I can not open them. They remain as thumbnail size. Not sure what the reason could be.

The picture of the Beautiful 51 Vick will enlarge, but the others wouldn't. I used to have a 51 Vick, but it wasn't nearly as nice as Billfish's.

the picture in the post is not my car, I found that picture on the internet. My 51 vic is shown under my name on the left side. The picture in the post looks like and is the same color as mine. I'll try to add a picture of my car to the body of this post.
