Default 1915 Model T currently on Ebay

Why isn't this T sold yet on Ebay? It has a unique top on it. It looks original and in good shape.

Very unique car , might be a little pricey at 16K, especially for a car that hasnt ran for some time.....

It is an interesting top, but not one picture of the mechanicals, the interior is tattered, and you can't tell the condition of the bodywork/paint due to the seller not washing the car off.

Add this to a positive rating of 4 (all as a buyer) and I would not risk a bid either. It also seems to be more of a $10,000 car maybe 12,500 but not 16k without it running.

Just speculation, but with 207 watchers I don't think I'm alone in those thoughts.

If he would list it in a no reserve auction I bet he would be pleasantly surprised. Bet would bring at least $14K in a bidding war.

I am truly amazed at sellers that don't think enough of what they are selling to wash the car and take GOOD photographs. How do they expect me to think enough of the car to place a bid ? This car would sell well if presented properly. Interesting top system.

Sometimes it works in our favor - my 29 Roadster was on e-bay listed as a COUPE and the pictures were pretty awful - the seller was told by someone it was not a coupe but rather a roadster and he didn't bother to fix the listing. I had someone from that area go look at the car for me before bidding and got it pretty reasonable considering.

If I were seriously looking at this T, I'd do the same thing - early parts are getting exponentially expensive to find - if that car IS correct, and the engine tight they might go for a reasonable offer.

I see a lot of ad's like that (ebay and craig's list), they are selling a car or truck, it's piled high with crap, not washed, bad lighting and stuck in the back corner with no way to get it out without moving the stuff piled behind it. Then couple that with a price that's not even in the ball park
