# question
on a 1930 ford coupe , the crossmember just in front of the seat , behind the transmission there is a # stamped . SFA 1061 . anyone have any idea what this # refers to ? ................ thanks .. steve

SFA means San Francisco Assembled, in a 5 story plant at 21st & Harrison where Model T's were made for many years. '31 cars were assembled at Richmond, across the bay in a totally new plant.
My '30 coupe was a SFA car. It's a little hard to pull up history on that plant.

I have a June'29 std coupe, can't find a BODY number anywhere. Can anyone with a like car share WHERE you have found the number located?
