putting a 64 in my 58...
found a nice running 223 out of a 64 F100 that a guy was updating to a 351/T5. My plan is to use this to replace the dead 223 in my 58 Country Sedan w/3spdOD. Question is, I'm guessing the 64 is an 11" clutch and my gut tells me the 58 is going to be a 10". The multiple questions are:
worst case - I swap the flywheels and use the original 10" best case, I leave the 11" in place - but will it fit inside the 58 bellhousing? considerations on either approach? thanks Bill |
