32-34 Spindles

Offered is a pair of 1932-34 spindles. The bearings fit fine on the spindle. I see no wear steps. The spindle nut threads are fine. I put nuts on them. The thrust bearing surface looks fine. A lot get worn because the bearing freezes up. The bearings were not frozen. The spindle bushings are great as well as the king pins. I would cut the ball sockets off to make them prettier. Works fine. Just leave the flange for the bearing. I would not hesitate to use them as is. Everything that matters is in great shape.
The spindles had later backing plates installed by welding them to the flange because the holes did not match up.I removed 95% of the weld. I have slipped on 32 backing plates and they fit fine. There is some more spots of weld that need to come off and there are some spots where metal is missing. None of this effects the useability of the spindles. It sure won't show when installed.
