Default Studs removed when removing Head Nuts

I am removing my head that was torqued repeatedly to 55# and stayed at 55# on repeated routine checks. When I removed it, 7 studs came out with the nut and only 7 nuts came off the studs. When I installed the studs 9,000 miles (2 Year) ago I did not use any sealant, just anti seize. I will be changing heads to a Snyder's 6:1 and am wondering if this is a problem with the studs releasing before the head nut, or if it is not an issue as long as the nut torques down and stays at the desired torque value. Thanks for your help.
