Re: New website!
Sad note is that several folks in the pics have passed away. Each one had a unique/interesting past. TIME is short, get to know your folks & learn from them.

Particularly like the Roadster on the cover page, looks like ours only we have the 19" rims not the 16 inchers. |

Re: New website!
Great work on the site!
Good point about getting to know folks Bill. We seem to lose people with knowledge of old cars every month. |

Re: New website!
A few years ago, two blocks from my house, I accidentally met Parker Gillespie, founding President of our Sierra Chapter, in 1962. What stories he told me, I could write a small book about him & his escapades!
Later, I heard that Parker cut the entire front end of a Model A, right behind the radiator shell, & made a wall hanging out of it! It had part of the wheels/tires, fenders, radiator, lights, bumper & even a horn. Must have taken a lot of skills & HARD work to do that !!! At a National Meet in San Francisco in about 1963, Parkers' '30 5 Window Coupe won first place, for the best UNRESTORED CAR! I'm still trying to locate the car, as his Son, Parker Jr. died also.
