Snyders Brattons Radiators
Any one have any experience with Snyders heavy duty radiator #A8005-AHD or Brattons heavy duty #11590. I think they are both made by Independent Radiator out of Illinois. I wanted to know if they are decent and your experience with either or should i steer clear and buy a Brass works. Thanks in advance.

Re: Snyders Brattons Radiators
Never heard a complaint. As for me I went and bought a Bergs core.

Another radiator to consider is the 4 rows of tubes model from Bert's in Colorado. It is mandatory to run a thermostat with this radiator or your engine will not warm up. I have one in my coupe and it has always run at operating temp since installation. Love it.

Re: Snyders Brattons Radiators
I bought a Brassworks heavy duty pressurised radiator a while ago and it is inadequate in some circumstances, FWIW.

Re: Snyders Brattons Radiators
I also bought a BERG'S core, and will use my tanks and frame if I ever need it.
A customer bought a Brassworks, and the bracket wasn't right, so I had to weld extensions to the 2 radiator rods to make them fit. This was 15 years ago. |

I bought the Bergs Radiator and am very happy with it, both fit and function.

Re: Snyders Brattons Radiators
I have two of Snyders best radiators and have nothing but good things to say about them. I have not tried one from Brattons. I have one from Brassworks and it is great, but I had fitment problems and Brassworks was anything but helpful.

Re: Snyders Brattons Radiators
I just installed a new HD radiator from Bratton's (#11620 for my 31 Slant Town Sedan) and have no complaints. It fits perfectly. I also installed at the same time a Vintage Precision thermostat housing with a 160 degree thermostat and it works great. Very happy with my new parts and the engine operates perfectly.

Re: Snyders Brattons Radiators
I have a Berts 4 row tube radiator in my Tudor and have never had overheating. It is made with original tanks and sides so it always fits.
