Name that Cowl
Someone back by the stadium had this Cowl for sale, anyone see it or know anything about it? It doesn't look homemade. Is it a commercial cowl of some sort?

Re: Name that Cowl
It must be from a comercial body of some kind.
It is all the same as any other 28/29 standard cowl (fuel tank, cowl panels and firewall) except for the pieces on each side at the back of the cowl panels that are used in place of the cowl posts. |

That one of the comercial cowl they made with no post on the rear of it another is just a firewall sides and subrail , the rear panel turn back with a flat to mount to wood framing on the out side, some had no fuel tank on the cowl

Re: Name that Cowl
I had a pair of those flaired panels years ago. Took YEARS to sell them, that was before the days of eBay. Think I got $25.00 and was happy to finally get something.

Re: Name that Cowl
The back of the cowl pieces are also for a cowl assembly that was sent to an outside coach company for a body with no doors, such as a light delivery wood body; notice there are no provisions for attaching kick panels so it wood have to be a commercial body of some type.
