I know there was a thread on 1928/29 Closed Cab (82-A) Pick-up dimensions, but cannot locate it.

I'm looking for overall height, length and width, if anyone can help.

It is on 12/31/10:

Neil,

Here you go as per a 1928 The New Ford...

Height: 51-17/32;
Width: (Top) about 54-1/2; (Bottom) 44-3/8; (measuring back side);
Length: 50-7/32
Weight: ???

But, the overall height and length seems a bit low. I'm looking for overall dimensions for a fully assembled CC Pickup from the ground up.

Need dimension comparison for vehicle clearance in an enclosed trailer.

Do you think that buying a pickup will give you enough room to haul your lovely wife's suitcases for a week-end getaway? You really pack that little Roadster......

I wonder if those might be the measurements for the cab only.
51" seems about right for the cab height.

My truck stands approx 75" tall and 162" long. There's a bunch of clutter next to it (as usual) so I didn't measure width, but I suspect it's no different than any other body style.

With a 75" trailer door clearance, I believe I would have a problem.

Unless l let air out of the tires.

Too close for comfort, I guess.

I'm just trying to be prepared just in case I see a 28/29 CCPU offered in the US that I just can't resist.

It would be a shame to trailer a long distance, only to find that the vehicle would not clear the door.

Finding a 28/29 CCPU to practice with in Canada is difficult, as they were not made here.
