Default Parts Supplier question

For those of you who own a 53-56 Mercury, where do you go for parts for repairs??
Like brakes, tune up, exhaust parts, electrical parts

Thanks!!

Try Concours Auto Parts in Carson City Nevada They list some Merc parts in their Ford Catalogue

What he said ^^^^^. Fortunately early/mid fifties Mercs are Fords under the skin, so many Ford parts also apply to Mercs. Body parts (rust repair panels, etc.) can be difficult.

Some of the more common brake & tune-up parts may be available from a local auto parts store. NAPA for example...

The mid-fifties Mercs had larger brake drums, shoes and wheels with larger bolt circle, so those can't be swapped for Ford parts. Most front-end suspension parts are also more heavy duty than Ford.
Gotta watch out for some electrical parts too. Headlight switch is different on a Merc than Ford, so scrutinize everything.
A few of the repro guys are offering stuff like tail-light lenses and small trim pieces for Mercs.
If body/floor panels are needed, check with EMS.

Many people call me --- I have some beautiful N.O.S. *** U.S.A. *** made parts --- where as the rest of the world are all Chineseum.......

Always best to simply call me --- 516 - 485 - 1935 New York --- Craig.....

I have the only pair of N.O.S. 1955 - 1956 Mercury --- ONLY --- Front Brake Drums, for example, in this universe !!!
