Radio Antenna 40-47 Pickup
Does anyone know if there is a supplier for the sidemount (VW style) radio antenna in 6 or 12 volt? |

Antennas arent fed any voltage! The side cowl style is repoped and can be found in many catalogs. I got one thru JC Whitney a few years ago. Also try Macs, Drake and anyone else catering to that era. |

6 or 12 volts wouldn't make any difference on a radio antenna unless it's a power antenna. My '38 Ford pickup is street rodded. I used a radio antenna off some Japanese car, don't remember what, probably a Nissan or Toyota, that mounts to the passenger side windshield post. Just drilled the holes and snaked the antenna cable through to the radio and plugged it in. |
