With gas prices what they are now, I'd bet a lot of those folks will be happy to pay the $.15 extra for milk at the country store to avoid using $5 or $6 worth of gas to go to the Wal Mart.

Doby, I wish you were correct; but, a lot--yes a lot of people don't think that way.



Most of us at the Fordbarn grew up where the family owned one car or maybe didn't even own a car--or one that ran. We raised our food, wrung the chickens neck for Sunday dinner, etc.



Those days are 50 years ago for most of us. Our kids have grown up with 2-3 or more cars in the family. The car is just like another set of legs to them.



I'm sorry I am so negative! I will shut up now!
