Guys,
Thanks for the concerns! Cheryl and I hold hands a lot nowadays! Everyday is special!

Looking forward to our trip to Auburn this year with the DDD.
I am going to try the dump truck bed several times to test the systems. To see if the PTO functions and the old oil in the lift cylinder moves again!
Regards,
Chris and Cheryl

Dave, Folks,
Yes we plan to be there. Are you bringing your 35 ton and a half?
We are currently working on cutting wood (slabs) with the buzz rig on the back of the Allis D-17 tractor. Couple more days and we should have that completed. Then to try to get the garden turned over.
Regards,
Chris and Cheryl

Chris,
I'm still in the body painting stage, so I won't have my truck done in time for meets this year. Hope to start the assembly process in June. Seems like it takes so much longer than I think to get anything fully finished.
See you in Auburn.
Dave

Mark, Dave, floks
Yes looking forward to the event. Our friends John and Cathy Kelley will be attending with us and John is such a wealth of knowledge on these flathead Fords! Of course they are planning to bring "Cindy" the 42 business Coupe!
Our truck has had its nose out of joint since this little red Comet came to the shop, so it will be good to spend some quality time with flathead friends too!
Regards,
Chris and Cheryl

Chris, I'm with the others in saying it's good to see you back in the 'hood. I'm sure that little red comet could be a fun distraction if you happen to like keeping up with traffic and being comfortable. From the photos it looks like a nice car. but really, let's see some photos of that orange tractor buzzing some slabs.

Tinker, Rustigold, GB,
Thanks! That reminds me I need to bring some syrup along to Auburn too.
Had a fellow Ford Barner tell me he was able to get some information from this thread to help him with his 32 Big truck project. So sometimes it works!
GB, I thought about taking some pictures as I was buzzing the 5 bundles of slabs, But didn't get any action shots!

Here I was sharpenening the saw blade:

Also used the D17 with the 3 point hitch to hook to the old 2 bottom Dearborn plows and turn over the garden.

Regards,
Chris and Cheryl
