Default 1937 Ford Pickup Radiator Options

Well....my radiator is toast and I'm looking for a replacement. I might be able to get my hands on another stock radiator...but not sure yet.

In the meantime, can anyone recommend a cost-effective replacement without spending $1000 bucks? Seems like there are several passenger car options, but less for pickups. Ford 289 motor is installed in the truck.

I've thought about a re-core, but I would like to see what other options I have as well.

The 37 Truck radiator fits the same hole and has greater cooling capacity. They can be a bit easier to find, also.

I have a perfect '37 Ford truck radiator that has been sitting up in the rafters for over forty years.. There is one problem with the radiator... It is for a V8 60.. same radiator as a 85 hp, just has smaller in/out pipes.. Since you have a 289 engine in your truck you would have to change the pipe connections anyway..
I'll sell it for $400.. plus shipping.... PM me, I'll send you some pix

I ended having a new radiator with transmission cooler built for $375 by Arrow Thermal Products in Concord, NC. They are a short drive from my house and Steve Wilson was incredibly helpful.

If you are in need of a radiator, give Steve a call. Link to his website is below.

Thank you all for all the help and great advice. Took the radiator in and had it dissembled cleaned and repaired at Autoradiator in Bangor, Me. NO MORE PROBLEMS. It runs exactly what the stats are set for and no more dribbling out the cap. It's amazing how much happier the engine 8BA and I am. All for $340. Alot less than I expected. Thank you all very much, Jim.
