I just finished watching the Twilight Zone- The whole truth episode and I noticed the door handles on the Model A Ford Town sedan were arched upward like the pictures of my fathers car taken when it was new. I have seen pictures showing both the arches on the handles in old photos having the handles arched up and arched down. Was this done by dealerships to move the locking door key to the drivers or passenger door? Does anyone have any information on this little bit of trivia?

Ford placed them both ways. Started with them up, then changed to down.
