I'd have these relined. many reports of numerous issues with repop shoes.

Is that place that does the relining still down off of National Av? They used to do my shoes. Arced them to the drums too.

Original steel '35-'36 brake shoes aren't exactly scarce given that more than five million were produced.

The cast brake shoes were made for Ford and are correct as well as the stamped steel ones. Here is a picture of an original cast shoe with Ford part number. Here is another picture of the cast shoe from a K.R. Wilson catalogue.

I have a bunch of those cast shoes and stamped steel with Ford script logo. I always thought both were original Ford parts.
