Default Zenith Carb Idling Question

Hi All,
When the Zenith carb is idling how much of the little hole does the throttle plate cover? Part of the hole? All of the hole? Or none off the hole?

Thanks,
Denny

It could all boil down to how the air meter valve/GVA is set and how fast you set the idle. While there might be an answer, mine is this is; this is something that need to be adjusted on the car running, not on the bench. I generally set the air meter valve at about 1.5 turns open to start with, install on car and go from there.

By the "air meter valve" are you referring to the idle mixture adjustment screw?

All my carb rebuilds cover approximately 1/2 the hole.
