RPM Gage
Where can one hook a RPM gage to an A Engine?

Hook it to the low side of the coil. This would be the wire that goes from the coil to the ignition key. I have an engine stand with a tac on it and that is where I connected it. The stand and the tac are 12-volts. At this point the tac is looking at the points opening and closing.

I bought mine at ORiley auto parts. It's a 12 volt.

I'm surprised that a 12v will work on a 6v system. I got a 6volt from Snyders and its worked fine for several years, although I really never use it. I think your ear will suffice for all normal Model A stuff. Pushing the limit on the top end, not so much.
