headlight issues
All;
I have a 31 AA. The light switch will not turn to the 7 o'clock position for the parking lights and the left head light low beam does not come on, but the high beam does. I have replaced the bulb and checked the wiring connections on the housing, to no avail. I suspect a wiring issue between the the housing at the bottom of the steering gear housing and the light assembly. I have ordred a new harness from Synders. Any sugesstions appreciated. John G |

Re: headlight issues
Just put the new one in carefully and you should be OK. Put things back where they belong before you put the keeper on the switch shaft. You could probably just fix the old one. Pretty simple if you follow the wiring diagram.

Re: headlight issues
Did it work properly before? If not, it may be that the pawl on the shaft end is in the wrong position. The switch portion of the assembly may not be correctly aligned with the rod.

Re: headlight issues
This is how it was when I got the truck. I pull it apart and take a look.
