1940 Ford coupe door latch
My 40 Ford Coupe has (what I have been told doesn't exist) a keyed door lock on the drivers side. Can anyone set me straight on this? I also need a door latch for this side.

Re: 1940 Ford coupe door latch
At one time Bob Drake sold a retrofit drivers side keyed door lock assembly.
Is this car a recent purchase for you? Perhaps a previous owner installed it. |

Also, when Drake was selling '40 sheet metal he offered a driver's side door or a doorskin with the lock feature already installed.
