41 ford windshield division bar
I am installing the windshield in my 41 coupe after being apart for a long time - I remember the screws on the division strip - I have the stainless outside piece and the inner trim piece. All my notes when taking it apart talk about threaded screws holding the inner and outer together but with the 2 pieces I have there are no places for the threaded screws to go into - were there inserts in the stainless piece? I found an old C&G catalog that mentioned a second piece to go with the stainless outside piece. I looked all over the area where the 2 division strips were stored and could not find anything else - appreciate some info on what the screws go into - a picture would help - thanks

Re: 41 ford windshield division bar
The outer stainless should garnish a metal piece that should be threaded with 3 holes and comes as a complete unit. There are screws that screw through from the inside that go through the inside divider bar and through the windshield rubber seal.
C&G ford has a repro divider bar complete as those bars rust out in time 41-48 Pass 11A-7003078-B............................ ea. 50.00 If you look in their catalogue page 252 you will see and they have the correct srews too. GB
