Default Removing door glass

I was hoping someone here knows an easy way to remove the existing door glass from a 36 pickup. I really don't want to take it out in pieces. It's seems really stuck or glued or something in the bottom track. Looks like a strip of cloth or mess was put in first, then the glass. I have tried tapping one of the bottom corners with a piece of wood and a mallet. It won't move any. Thanks in advance.

Probably put in with some sort of glass setting tape, maybe try some solvent.

As stated, apply kerosene or mineral spirits to both sides of the channel, let soak then tap along both side edges (towards the bottom) with wood or suitable block to loosen. Repeat as required.

good luck. That tape is like tar strips with adhesive. take your time, it may come loose.
