Picture Viewing Problems
I am having problems opening the thumbnail style of pictures usually posted here on Ford Barn. I click on the picture and it goes to a black screen that tries to open. Nothing happens but I can click on the black screen and the picture will open in a full window. This allows me to see the picture in that window but not to scroll to the next. I have to close the window and repeat this process for each picture I want to see.
I can't ask what I'm doing wrong but rather what can I do differently to fix this? I used to be able to open pictures and go to the next backwards or forwards like it should be. Thanks |

Re: Picture Viewing Problems
On both my desktop and laptop I have Windows 7 (64bit),use Norton for antivirus and Chrome as a browser. I have found on some sites, photos will not open if the Norton Toolbar is visible. If the toolbar is hidden, the photos will open normally.

Re: Picture Viewing Problems
I think it is an IE issue. Firefox and Chrome work fine.

Think positive!
It might all clear up & work correctly tomorrow night after Tuesday's elections. |

Re: Picture Viewing Problems
Ok well not being an IT guy I see it is not just my problem. I will check my office computer when I get home next week and see if Windows 8 has the same problem. Thanks

Re: Picture Viewing Problems
It is a problem with Internet Explorer 10 and 11. They have added additional security to prevent malware. Some of those features and this website do not play well together.

Re: Picture Viewing Problems
Well Dan, that was a good place to start but my pop up blocker wasn't on to start with. It is now!
