Default Picture Viewing Problems

I am having problems opening the thumbnail style of pictures usually posted here on Ford Barn. I click on the picture and it goes to a black screen that tries to open. Nothing happens but I can click on the black screen and the picture will open in a full window. This allows me to see the picture in that window but not to scroll to the next. I have to close the window and repeat this process for each picture I want to see.

I can't ask what I'm doing wrong but rather what can I do differently to fix this? I used to be able to open pictures and go to the next backwards or forwards like it should be.

Thanks

Yes, and I thought that I was the only one. I believe that mine was after an update also.

You have to shrink them down in size and they will go through

On both my desktop and laptop I have Windows 7 (64bit),use Norton for antivirus and Chrome as a browser. I have found on some sites, photos will not open if the Norton Toolbar is visible. If the toolbar is hidden, the photos will open normally.

I think it is an IE issue. Firefox and Chrome work fine.

Think positive!

It might all clear up & work correctly tomorrow night after Tuesday's elections.

Ok well not being an IT guy I see it is not just my problem. I will check my office computer when I get home next week and see if Windows 8 has the same problem. Thanks

It is a problem with Internet Explorer 10 and 11. They have added additional security to prevent malware. Some of those features and this website do not play well together.

Well Dan, that was a good place to start but my pop up blocker wasn't on to start with. It is now!
