As above, get Vern Tardel's, it will give you a good idea of weather you want to tackle
the job or not. The worst part of the whole thing is dealing with the steering box. Everything else is pretty straight forward. |

With a bigger transmission the car ran great for a week... Until the car got totaled when he rear ended a truck because of not enough brakes. |

Looks like it has more wheelbase with the spring in front of the rear axle. Might work with a pickup. Otherwise the body would have to move back a good bit.

if all one is doing is looking for hp- then yes the banger is the cheapest way to go
but nobody can argue a flathead is out and out sexier to look at then a tractor motor................ |
