Not enough clutch peddle pressure?
I just installed a lightened flywheel and V-8 clutch. I also put a 3/4 inch longer lever on the clutch to ease the amount of pressure it takes to push down the peddle.
Whoa Baby is it easy to push! It is almost too easy and I worry if maybe the clutch will "ride" by itself. I am talking fractions of a ounce to depress the peddle versus pounds as before. I'm not so sure I like it quite so easy. Comments from the gallery please. They said this was a great set up for parades and now I see why. |

Re: Not enough clutch peddle pressure?
I have used this combination on several occasions for customers with great success. The only downfall I have found for me personally is that you must depress the pedal much further during transmission shift changes to get the same amount of clutch plate release.

Re: Not enough clutch peddle pressure?
I have the same clutch setup, except my clutch lever is stock length, and it is soft enough for me the way it is without the extra distance to disengage.
