I found a picture of a 28 Wolverine. See picture below. It sure looks like the picture in the initial post - even the 4 lugs on the wheel rims.

Rusty, look again at the original picture in Post #1 and the picture you posted above and you will see the 2 main body differences between the Post #1 subject and what most of the Wolverines were like (Visor and rear quarter panel beltline).

Found this picture of a '28 Reo Wolverine. Check out the visor, rear quarter panel beltline and running board "embossing".
