What you say is definitely true. The problem comes that once you take the pictures at a low resolution there is nothing you can do to increase the resolution. You can always take a high resolution picture and reduce the resolution later. High resolution is good if you happen by acccident to get that perfect perfect picture and want to enlarge it to hang on the wall. High resolution is good because you can crop down to the object of interest. Another danger is if you set the camera on low resolution and happen to go on a vacation and take a lot of photos that you might want to enlarge. I always keep my camera on high resolution JPEG with minimum JPEG compression. I haven't gone as far as shooting pictures in RAW but have considered it.

to add to the apple/mac deal. Open it in preview, then goto to picture size. Resize to 800pxl and then export to a jpg. Keep the full rez to yourself.

ah ha there was a reg truck light bak there which was just a standard light that obviously would not work.
So i bought two picktails hogged out the center of the plastic truck light and made a small hole in the rubber boot and sqeezed the socket right in there .
Nice tight fit need pics i will post worled out great.

they were just a picktai 1157 socket the rubber grommet things were
already there.
