Default 1940 ford/mercury headlight buckets

Hello guys, my project 1940 mercury coupe has headlight buckets that are in dire need of rebuilding. I have seen repro ford pieces but not mercury...so are they.both the same part? Will ford Interchange with mercury in this case?

I think they are the same, but I would call one of the V-8 parts vendors to make sure.

Look in the Chassis parts book to see if they are the same part number.
