NICE! Good to see a truck that lived most of its life inside. Bob

Hope you let Neil Wilson of the Ford Model AA Truck Club see this.

If it is all intact, he might want some information on it. Especially the racks if they are original Model AA Ford.

That's really a nice AA. The big trucks are usually very used, beat up, cracked and worn out. I wonder what the headlamps came from? I'd bet you could sell them for enough money to buy the correct ones. Also that wood block on the generator isn't needed, since the belt doesn't need to be very tight.

Oh, Tom,
The block brings a memory flooding back! I can remember Chief, bending over a tree stump with a hand axe carving those blocks with a very slight angle, for a precise belt adjustment! Chief would greatly modify the one in the pic! Bill W.

That's a real nice truck !!! What a solid cab !!!
Doesn't look like it would take much to get it running down the road either.

You will have some fun with that

Oh man.. I keep coming back to this thread to look at the pictures. I wish I had the space, time and $$ to get a AA! I just REALLY love the looks of them. I grew up on a farm and we had a 52 Ford and 55 ford grain trucks that had been retired to the pasture. (family still has the 52) They were still running but were basically used a few times a year to haul junk or if things got really crazy at harvest time. Mostly they sat idle but I had a blast firing them up once in a while. There's something great about some of those old trucks. Maybe its just my urge to reconnect to the simple life and go back to my roots.

Nice catch!

Thumbs up Re: Barn Find just an hour from the house..

Nice find dude! One suggestion: don't restore it, just make it safe and road worthy! Ready for field work again as Henry intended............

Nice truck. BTW what kind of oil intake tube is on it? I had one like that on my huckster before I rebuilt it. Still have it somewhere in a box.

i agree with Bob ,just wash it and maybe wax it
trucks in that shape are impossible to find
do the mechanicals to make it safe and enjoy it
park it in a car show and see how much traffic it will draw, just as is

Looks like the larger diameter tube from a Model B motor to me.

Good luck with your project. This stuff is still out there, although the heavy iron does have a limited following. About 20 years ago I attended a picnic for my daughter's softball team at a home outside town. In a barn was a 1929 AA flatbed, for which the girl's father told me of his plans to restore it. It was there when they bought the place. The family has since moved on but, as of last year, the AA is still there in the barn. Wonder who will step up next or will it just be towed off for scrap?
