Interior panels
I am putting together a 1931 Tudor that some took apart...had a lot of work done and then quit. I have it back together and running and now I am putting the interior in it. He had the headliner done and seats done. He had all the other panels upholstered. The door panels were easy to put on since they have clips. I am not sure how to attach the panels below the back windows and all the panels that go around the rear window and between the windows and the head liner.

Re: Interior panels
I could be very wrong, but I believe they are nailed in with small nailed or brads.

Re: Interior panels
The panels are nailed with very fine, headed nails into the wood framing. Then, with a upholstery needle or dentist pick, pull the fabric out to cover the head.
Set the curved panels in a 5 gal. bucket (DRY - NOT IN WATER) for a day or two to set the curve and make them easier to install.

Re: Interior panels
One thing I found when I did my Tudor this winter was that the wood is VERY hard and the little brads like to bend. I found if you hold them with a small, clean, needle nose pliers and be careful driving them most will not bend. It seems the pliers gives the brads a little extra stiffness so they do not bend.
good luck.

Re: Interior panels
This small nails method would work on a fordor right? With wood frame everywhere? So where does one get such tiny nails are they available from a ...furniture maker?

I buy the small "finishing" brads at Ace Hardware. Gar Williams
