Default 1928 special coupe and tudor sedan doors

Are the doors on a 1928 special coupe and 1928-29 tudor sedan the same?

My coupe doors are 29 1/4" wide. A few times when I have seen 28-29 doors for sale they are advertised as coupe/sedan doors so I assume they are the same.

Yes, the doors are the same size but '28 doors differ from '29 doors, mostly at the removable moulding at the top of the doors.

Another valuable little detail I was not aware of... ( difference between '28 & '29 doors )

Is this the strip on top between the outer skin and the inner edge, that the glass butts-against when closed ?

( As opposed to an interior "garnish moulding" ?)

Thanks,

SC Frank

The car looks great. What are you planning? If you keep stock body with NO body changes, a buick V6 fits well. BTW, I'm from Gold River, Wayne.

Hi Wayne, the car in my avatar is going to remain stock other than the 35 wheels. My coupe has already been turned into a hot rod before I bought it so it will remain a hot rod.
