Flsthead tachometer suggestions

I just returned a SW Wings tach that I could not get to register correctly at idle.
I've read a couple of blogs from guys having problems with today's tachs with similar problems.

I'm hoping to pick your brain as to a tach that has worked well on your flathead.
While function is a priority, second would be to keep the old school look.
I need a column mount and I have converted to 12 neg ground.

The old Suns use to be flawless, maybe I need to find a good used one.....
