I am wondering if you had the Newport Engineering conversion would you still have this problem? ....Matt in Alameda

Matt, I checked with Newport and the holes needed for their unit are different than the holes on my 36. Would need to fill and re-drill the passenger side.
Looks like I'm going to run without wipers and stay out of the rain, or make some sort of 'stop' like Tom mentioned.
